The University of Copenhagen Botanical Garden is situated in the heart of Copenhagen.

The garden is a living museum and holds one of the largest herbaria of plants and fungi from all over the world.

It covers an area of 10 hectares and is particularly noted for its extensive complex of historical glasshouses dating from 1874.
