So, this being an amazing weather for December, we headed to The Vatican yesterday. Well, that was actually a side visit, since we were going to visit other places in Rome, near Vatican City, but we figured, since we are so close we might as well just go there now and see what the piazza looks like in December. That’s one of the advantages of living in Rome 🙂 We can always swing by.
If you have been here in the summer, you will see a never ending stream of double decker buses full of tourists from all over the world, and the piazza jam packed. Not yesterday. There were tourists but we could pretty much photograph the piazza and see the piazza in the photo.

It is always fun to walk by the piazza every once in a while. It’s one of those places where you think, whoa, the amount of history that this place has seen!
